If you are ready to find assistance for ending your substance use, I would like the opportunity to help you.

I am a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CADC II) and Medication Assisted Treatment Specialist (MATS), as well as a Licensed Pastoral Counselor, specializing in Trauma and stress reduction, depression, anxiety and codependency.

I provide:

Drug and Alcohol Assessments (in person only),

Anger Management Assessments (in person only),

individual counseling (in person and video),

group counseling (in person only), 

Substance Abuse Education classes (in person and video) and

Early Intervention Treatment (in person and video).

I am the Program and Clinical Director for Good Shepherd Recovery House for men, and served as the Executive Director/Counselor for Ruth House Ministries for women for 4 years. I have led 12-Step meetings and Step Study Groups at Celebrate Recovery starting in 2011.

Penny helped my husband, my son and myself tremendously with many other issues but the co-dependence class was my all time favorite and most helpful for my situation. We went to them pretty broken and she helped us learn the proper ways to deal with family addiction and co-dependence and has made my life much less guilt ridden and much more free from the clutches of my son’s addiction. I would highly recommend Penny as a mentor, counselor, pastor and friend to anyone looking for any type of counseling, self help or addiction help for themselves or a loved one. Penny helped me through some situations that were very tough! She is a real person and you can feel comfortable telling her anything without fear of being judged. She has truly heard almost anything. While she is a Christian counselor and minister, if you are not a devout Christian she will respect that without proselytizing and still help you find solutions to your problems.  It’s helpful for me to know I can turn to her when I need her (as I did just the other day!).
